We've been busy around here getting ready for Christmas! Last Saturday Savannah got to check out the snow with Dad! She wasn't too impressed. :)
Then we went to pick out our Christmas tree! We've never waited until this close to Christmas, but I'm glad we did this year! Savannah knows she's not supposed to touch the tree, but if we aren't looking she'll sneak over there anyway!
Mommy made sugar cookies and Savannah "helped." Mostly, she ran around the kitchen while I worked on the cookies, and then I picked her up to show her the dough for a quick photo op!
On Christmas Eve Eve, Savannah got to meet her Uncle Adam! He is a Marine and was deployed when Savannah was born. His deployment ended a few months ago, but since he lives in California, this was the first chance he had to get out here to see Savannah! Savannah was hesitant and first but definitely warmed up as the afternoon went on - it helps that Adam wasn't afraid to get right down on the floor with her and "jam" on her toy guitar!
Aunt Elaine was fun to play with, too!
